Thanksgiving & Healing

"But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” - (Rev 5:5)

  1. Father, I thank You because Jesus has prevailed! I thank You for divine healing over every cell, organ, and system in my body and my children’s bodies. I declare that our bodies are subjected to Your healing power, in Jesus’ Name!

  2. Father, I thank You because every genetic affliction has been defeated through the victory of Jesus! I declare that every pattern of sickness passed down through generations is broken, and my family enjoys divine health and wholeness, in Jesus’ Name!

  3. Lord, I thank You because You have prevailed over sickness and disease. Thank You for Your living waters that flow through my household. I declare that every seed of sickness, disease, and destructive behavior has no place in my family, in Jesus’ Name!

  4. Father, I thank You for the blood of Jesus that speaks victory over my children and my household. Because Jesus has prevailed, I declare that this school year, my family will walk in divine health and share testimonies of Your goodness and healing power, in Jesus’ Name!

  5. Father, I thank You because the victory of Jesus reaches through every generation of my family. I declare that every genetic affliction and inherited pattern of sickness has been broken, and it will not have the final say over my children or my household, in Jesus’ Name!

  6. Lord, I thank You for the wholeness You have made available to my children & I through Christ. I declare that every strand of our DNA, every habit, and every fibre of our being is subject to Your divine will. Because Jesus has prevailed, my children walk in health, strength, and wholeness, in Jesus’ Name!

  7. Jesus has prevailed over every plot of the enemy! So I declare divine protection over all children from airborne diseases and every sickness that spread through schools, and communities, in Jesus’ Name!

Keep praying as inspired until you feel a sense to bring things to an end.

You may also repeat the prayer points above.

Worship While You Pray & Fast

We put together a playlist of worship songs to help you worship, reflect, and stay focused on Jesus throughout the challenge.

09:00 AM

Declarations & Scripture to Confess

Make the declarations out loud. Give no room for doubt. Believe!

Mention child’s name & family name as you make these declarations e.g. "Sola, rise up and walk!", "In the Sandy Family, we declare this school sickness free.")

Declarations
  1. Because Jesus Christ has prevailed, sickness and disease will not have the final word over my children or my family. I declare that the victory in the blood of Jesus Christ speaks louder than every diagnosis, affliction, symptom, and health challenge. My children are healed, my family is whole, in Jesus Name!

  2. Because Jesus has prevailed, I declare that everything concerning the health and development of my children is coming into divine order. Whatever has been delayed, interrupted, or affected by sickness is being restored by the power of God. My children will flourish in body, mind, and strength, and they will fulfil every good purpose God has for their lives!

  3. I declare that every member of my family will live and not die, and we will declare the works of the Lord. There shall be no premature death in my family! I cancel every appointment with death! There shall be NO loss! We will NOT lose our young ones. Our children will grow, thrive, and fulfill their days in good health. We will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, in Jesus’ Name

Confess the Bible verses below in faith as the Holy Spirit leads, knowing that He has prevailed and that
Jesus’ Victory is your confidence.

Romans 8:37 NKJV
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Colossians 2:13-14 KJV
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross

John 16:33 NKJV
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Nobody Greater

Vashawn Mitchell

Start with this simple prayer: "Holy Spirit, guide my worship and prayers. Help me lift up the person of Jesus Christ as I worship, and receive from You, in Jesus name I pray. Amen!"

Pray the declarations below.

They are from the words of the worship songs for today.

  • Father, You are Yahweh! You are the Lord over my family, our health, our future, and every situation concerning me and my family.

  • Father, just as You have healed, restored, delivered, and performed miracles in the past, I believe You can do it again. Let faith rise in my heart.

  • There is nobody greater than You, Lord. No doctor, diagnosis, disease, medication, circumstance, or report is greater than You. We respect medical care and the help they provide, but our ultimate trust is in You. You remain our Healer, our Keeper, and our Helper.

  • Father, we want to experience Your manifest Presence in our homes.
We lift up every child who is sick, every parent carrying the weight of a child’s illness, and every family trusting You for restoration.
Step into hospital rooms, bedrooms, and every place where sickness has brought fear or weariness. Let Your presence bring peace, and let every family know that they are not alone. Jesus, You have prevailed, let Your healing power be made evident in our homes, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

There is no need to rush the moment. Soak in the worship and pray with your heart.

Journal Your Experience

This is not just about prayer points, its an invitation to encounter Jesus Christ.

As you pray, the Holy Spirit may nudge your heart with a thought, a bible verse, or an impression. Write it down, even if unsure.

Read, Meditate & Pray
The Story of Lazarus
- John 11:17-44

1. PRAY

  • Lord, open my eyes to see what You want me to see in this story.

  • Open my heart to receive Your Word and build my faith as I read.

2. READ & MEDITATE

Read and meditate on the powerful story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead in John 11:17–44.

  • As you read, ask: “Holy Spirit, what are You showing me?”

  • Think about what Jesus said and did.

    • What does this story show me about Jesus?

    • What does it say about my situation?

    • What do I need to believe now?

  • Write down what stands out to you.

  • 17 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. 19 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.
22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” 28 And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, “The Teacher has come and is calling for you.” 29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him.

30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met Him. 31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.” 32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34 And He said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.”

35 Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” 37 And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?” 38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”

40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

Now, pause & reflect

Lord, “What are You showing me?” What does this story reveal about Jesus? What does it say about your situation?  Write down what stands out to you.

Remember

Lazarus’ case looked hopeless, but Jesus had the final say!

Pray!

Pray specifically about what you're believing God for, then write down what you now choose to believe differently now.

06:00 PM

Pray for Minds & Bodies

1. REVISIT YOUR NOTES

  • Review your 3PM session notes.

  • Read what you wrote and pray over the situations, Scriptures, and insights that stood out to you.

Pick one item that belongs to your child (like clothing, a water bottle, or a backpack) and pray over it during this session.

2. WORSHIP GOD

  • Sing any song that comes to mind.

  • Let your worship be a response to what God has shown you today.

3. PRAY FOR HEALING OF THE MIND

Remember: Lazarus’ case seemed hopeless, but Jesus was still at work

  • Father, I bring myself, my children,   and every member of my family  before You. Heal every area of our minds that needs Your touch.

  • I pray for healing for every wounded heart, troubled mind, anxious mind, fearful mind, confused mind, grieving mind, and depressed mind.

  • Where the situation looks hopeless, Father, restore our hope. For our disappointments, Lord, restore our joy. Where there has been fear, establish Your peace. Where our minds have been weighed down, bring freedom and renew our strength.

  • I speak life back into every mind that is dead to Your purpose in Jesus Name!

4. INTERCEDE FOR OTHERS

Pray for Everyone Carrying a Burden

  • Father, we lift up every child, parent, and family trusting You for healing. Strengthen those who are weary, comfort those who are hurting, and meet every need represented here.
