Lean on the Holy Spirit
Rely on the Holy Spirit of God as you pray today. He is right there in your heart. As you follow the guide, speak forth the prayers He brings to your mind. If you find yourself praying in tongues, that’s okay, let the Holy Spirit take the lead.

Prayer Points
Start with thanksgiving, then pray the following prayers believing that your prayers are heard with answers:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the unique way You have created every child and parent, including persons living with a disability or developing at their own pace. Help us to always rely on Your truth to help us shape our sense of identity. May we ALL always remember that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Lord, help us to never forget that we are precious in Your sight and never defined by the circumstances in our lives. I surrender my mind and my children’s mind to You! Break every thought pattern that has distorted my TRUE identity in Christ. Help us to renew our minds daily according to Your Word, in Jesus' Name.

I cancel any belief in my heart, in my children’s hearts, and in the hearts of every member of my family that contradicts your will for our lives in Jesus Name. I replace it them with your righteousness, peace and joy in the holy ghost.

Lord, we step into a new mindset shift this school year. Help us focus on productivity, profitability, and the fulfillment of our purpose each day.

Father, reveal to each member of our family, including every child and adult living with any diagnosis, a clear understanding of our individual purpose, according to Your will, in Jesus' Name.

Father, align my desires, attitudes, and expectations with Your will for my children. Help me raise them according to Your divine purpose.

Every voice speaking condemnation to our children (and parents too) I silence you in the Name of Jesus! From today, I amplify the voice of the Holy Spirit, the voice of sonship, the voice that calls out “Abba, Father.”

Help them remember beyond reasonable doubt, that our value comes from being loved by You and not from the world's standards or comparisons. Bombard us all with a tangible experience of your presence and reassuring love that removes any feeling of inadequacy.

Father, grant us the courage to admit our needs and seek your help without shame. Help us to always approach you boldly, because we know that you care for every detail of our lives.

Give us the strength to resist the desires and demands of our flesh. Teach us to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit within us, in Jesus' Name.

I pray that courage will rise in our hearts to stand for Christ in classrooms, workplaces, communities, cities, and our countries at large, in Jesus Name.

Declarations 1
The Lord is your light and salvation; you shall not fear. The fear of the Lord is your anchor; you will not fear man, you will not fear rejection, you will not fear failure.
By the mercy of the Lord, you will NOT conform to the pattern of this world. Your mind is renewed daily by God’s Word. You know who you are in Christ, like you know your name, so insecurity is not your portion in Jesus Name! You are bold and never ashamed of your God-given gifts. You do not seek to belong, but you shine your light bright and embrace your uniqueness by the help of the Holy Spirit! The voice of condemnation cannot define you!
This school year, you will rise as a light, you will be known as a bearer of truth, and as a voice of courage & comfort. The GRACE to say NO to sin rests upon you now and always! For the rest of your life, you will walk in line with God’s will for your life! God’s purpose is revealed through you daily.
Declarations 2
Read out these bible verses out loud repeatedly for you, your child(ren) & your family! Note the impressions that come to your heart as you do.
John 15:3-4 (NKJV) - You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV) - What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Psalm 139:13-17 (ESV) - For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Declarations 3
Blessed be my God, the creator of heaven and earth, the one who formed my children, and knew them before they were born. I thank you that you always hear my cry over my family and children.
I thank you in advance for this school year, that our testimony will be that the Lord was our strength and shield. In this school year, our hearts will learn to trust you without bounds, and our eyes will be open to see your help and provisions for our family. We put on the cloak of gratitude, that our hearts will greatly rejoice, with songs of praise on our lips always, irrespective of what comes our way. I decree that the Lord is our saving refuge. Hence, my children and entire family are walking in our calling, and we will know to run to you for refuge in times of trouble.
In this school year, my children are like a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. My children are brought out of obscurity into your marvelous light. When people see our good works, they see your undeniable glory.
For each of my children, the gentiles shall come to your light, kings to the brightness of your rising. Their light will shine so bright that ideologies outside of God's word will bow to God’s word in them in Jesus Name.

In this school year, in my household, we flow where the river flows, we go where the river goes, we go where the spirit goes, we go where the spirit leads, we do what the father says, we love how the father loves, we live like the Bible says, we say what the holy spirit says, we pray when the spirit says, we pray in the Holy ghost, we are soaring on eagle’s wings, we are flying on eagle’s wings, in Jesus Name. Amen!
In this school year, I will not fear, my children will not fear! On the door frame of my life, the blood of Jesus Christ is on the door frame of my life! So when the devil comes near, he has no choice but to pass over me and my household! There is an army of angels with us at all times. We are protected on all sides, by the blood of Jesus Christ in Jesus Name. Amen!
In this school year, though an host encamp against me, my heart will NOT fear! The world may rise against me, In You Lord I will put my trust! For You are with me, my Yahweh! The Lord is my light and salvation, whom shall I fear! Jesus, You are my light, Yahweh.
In the school year, my family's hope is found in Christ alone. He is our light, our strength, our song, our Comforter, our All in All. We will forever stand in the love of Christ I stand, because we know without a doubt that Jesus commands our destiny. Even if we see things that don't look like it, we will continually shout it out loud that "Jesus commands our destiny"! For NO power of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck our children and family members from God's hands, in Jesus Name! Amen!
In this school year, and for the rest of our lives, I speak over you my child, out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water, Amen! And as the rivers of living water flow, it begins to bring every dead thing to life, it's a life giving river, oh let it flow, right here, right now!

Thank you, Lord, for seeing me through today’s fast. I know that these exercises are not in vain.

Heavenly Father, thank You for creating my child with unique talents and gifts. Help them see themselves as wonderfully made in Your image. Where confidence has been lost through fear, failure, or discouragement, let them encounter your miraculous provision of strength in their minds in Jesus’ Name.

Father, help us parents with the wisdom and patience to nurture the gifts and potential within each child you have given us. Help families to see, celebrate, and trust the unfolding of Your purpose in every season of growth, even when progress seems slow or uncertain.

Is there any thing that represents dryness or desolation within my family, I decree that they are refreshed by the living water of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name.

Pray with Luke 11:34-36 - Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness. Therefore be careful lest the light in you be darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with its rays gives you light.
(Keep repeating the verses until you feel a sense of satisfaction) -
Lord, I pray that my children will recognize their bodies as Your temple, where Your Holy Spirit dwells. May they be constantly aware of Your presence in their lives and live in a way that honors and reflects Your glory.

For any child (or adult) currently living the deceit of the enemy, I pray that the blinding scales begin to fall off their eyes. I decree that their inner eyes and voice of reasoning are free from any past identities or labels that do not align with who they are in Christ. Grant us discernment to recognize when false light or confusion tries to enter our minds and heads. Help us examine our thoughts and beliefs through the lens of your written WORD.

I terminate the operation of the spirit of error in my family in Jesus Name. This school year, no wrong moves in Jesus Name. Amen!

In this school year, my household and I will abide in Jesus Christ, and Christ will abide in us. In and with Jesus, we bear much fruit. In Jesus, we will flourish! Our lives will glorify the Father, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
